Apple Cinnamon Protein Oatmeal

This oatmeal can be made ahead of time and stored in the refrigerator or enjoyed immediately! The apples make it seem perfect for fall, but really it can be enjoyed any time!

  • 2 servings of GF Spouted Quick Oats (One Degree Organic Foods) - I used ⅔ cup

  • 1 apple, sliced thinly

  • 1 Tbsp avocado oil

  • Cinnamon 

  • ½ cup almond milk (or to desired consistency)

  • 1 serving Collagen Peptides (I love vital proteins)

  • Optional: vanilla extract

  1. Fry apples in 1 Tbsp of avocado oil. Season with cinnamon

  2. Cook oatmeal on the stovetop according to the package. Add cinnamon. 

  3. Combine oatmeal, apples, almond milk and collagen peptides (and vanilla if desired). If making ahead, you want it to be a little soupy because it will harden in the refrigerator. 

  4. Enjoy!
